ABOUT LUCAS |  MAGAZINE-A New Port Richey Law Firm

The Law Offices of Lucas | Magazine were founded in February 2000 by Jeff Lucas and Robert W. Attridge, Jr. Since its inception, the New Port Richey Law Firm has grown considerably due to the basic principles of hard work and dedication to our clients’ needs. Our top notch staff takes pride in handling every detail of our clients. Members of our support staff are also bilingual in Spanish and Greek.

At Lucas | Magazine, our attorneys are dedicated to aggressively representing their clients against powerful insurance companies. The firm litigates a substantial portion of its cases and often handles the litigation work for other attorneys. As managing partner, attorney Jeff Lucas assists in the coordination of the intakes of new clients, pre-suit personal injury cases, and pre-suit settlement negotiations. He also handles the administrative aspects of the firm. Jeff began his legal career as a Public Defender in 1992. His term with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s office developed his skills in trial as he handled matters ranging from simple misdemeanors to homicide.

In 1995, Jeff joined a civil litigation firm in Tarpon Springs, where he handled a wide variety of criminal cases and civil matters. Jeff’s case load included various negligence lawsuits, wrongful death actions, and civil rights. In January 1999, Jeff Lucas formed his own firm, which eventually evolved into the firm now known as Lucas | Magazine – a New Port Richey Law Firm

In January 2006, Clementine “CC” Conde joined our firm. As a criminal defense attorney, CC enjoys tremendous respect from her colleagues and has years of experience as a criminal law litigator. Few attorneys have the litigation experience of CC.

Board Certified Civil Trial attorney, James L. Magazine joined our firm as a partner in March 2006. Jim has the reputation of being an aggressive and skilled litigator and manages our litigation department. Through his leadership, our firm now litigates not only our own cases but for many other attorneys throughout the State of Florida. In simple terms, Jim’s wealth of knowledge and trial experience has altered and improved our firm’s presence in the court room. Jim has received an AV rating, the highest peer review rating awarded, in the Martindale-Hubbell National Legal Directory.

In November 2008, attorney Stephen H. Haskins joined our firm. Steve is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with nearly thirty years of legal experience. Steve and attorney Jim Magazine previously worked together at another injury firm where they handled thousands of injury cases.

Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer Sam Newman joined our firm in 2010. For the past 31 years, Sam has been practicing as a Plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer throughout Florida primarily in Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough, Polk, Hernando, Citrus and Orange Counties. Sam is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer having earned that distinction in 1988. He has received an AV rating, the highest peer review rating awarded, in the Martindale-Hubbell National Legal Directory.

Four Locations for our New Port Richey Law Firm

Lucas | Magazine has four (4) locations serving Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando County clients. Our Pinellas County office is located in the Prestige One Building on McCormick Drive in Clearwater. This office is fully staffed and serves our Pinellas County clients. An office in Spring Hill, Hernando County, was opened in 2010 and is also fully staffed to serve our Hernando and other adjacent northern counties. Our fourth staffed office opened in Wesley Chapel in February 2016.

Our main office in New Port Richey, Pasco County, actually consists of two buildings adjacent to each other. These state-of-the-art facilities are located at 8606 Government Drive, roughly 150 feet from the south wall of the West Pasco Judicial Center. We are very easy to find. Just look for the green and brick buildings with the Statute of Liberty in front.

Lucas | Magazine is dedicated to not only serving the needs of our clients but also giving back to the community in which many of our attorneys and staff reside. The firm has been involved in numerous community events held in the Pasco and Hernando County area. Jeff Lucas is on the Board of Dayspring Academy, a highly regarded Charter School. Jeff is also a founding member of Sand Soldiers of America, a group formed as a resource for veterans of the Central Asian Conflicts by providing social services, encouraging fellowship and honoring their service and sacrifice through community events and memorials. Jim Magazine serves on the Board of Joshua House, which is a group of emergency shelters and long-term residential care for children. Every holiday season the firm takes all of the children of Joshua House shopping. The Law Offices of Lucas | Magazine also support the West Pasco Little League, New Port Richey Suncoast Theatre, local churches, schools, food banks, and police organizations.

Lucas |  Magazine is committed to aggressively advocating for its clients and continuously reinvesting in the community.

I was referred to this firm from a good friend and he was right in saying they are professional, expert and care. These are the attributes I value, because the outcomes are never certain, only the manner of service.
