Gun Craft Inc. was founded in 1981 by Owner, Ben Jones. It is a custom gun shop specializing in 1911’s and cowboy action firearms. We are also a full service gun shop doing tune-ups and most types of general gun repair. We are located on 10 acres in Southern Hillsborough County, Ruskin, FL. The range includes 3-35 yard ranges and a 100 yard range. We are a membership only club open to the public with memberships available. We are an NRA affiliated club.

Our 35 yards ranges are open Tuesday through Saturday. Shooters and Hunters may site in their rifles on the 100 yard range on Monday’s by appointment only.

The First Sunday of every month the local IPPSC shooter organization holds their competition matches. The fourth Sunday of every month Cowboy Action Shooters (SASS) holds their competition matches.

Ben Jones – Owner, is a semi-retired custom gun smith and an avid hunter with a lifelong membership with the NRA.

Dave Smith - Manager, he is a custom gun smith, and gives instructions in safety of firearms. His affiliations are NRA, American Pistol Smith Guild, USPSA, and SASS.

Aubrey Allmond – Sales Representative, he is in charge of taking orders and the shipping department. He is a gunsmith and a life member of the NRA.

Gun Craft is more than just a custom pistol shop. Our customers can expect our pistolsmithing to be meticulous, whether you need a absolutely reliable personal defense handgun or an accurate and reliable target grade pistol or revolver you can depend on us. We also specialize in custom rifles built to order on high quality rifle actions. Only the highest quality stocks, barrels, and component parts go into each Gun Craft rifle.

With an eye to detail, the selected parts are then pain stakingly fitted. A custom stock is built from customer measurements for that perfect fit. A true hand rubbed English finish is applied. Stock checkering is available. Each rifle is sighted in and checked for reliability and accuracy. Each rifle is built one at a time, not on a production line, for a true one of a kind custom rifle that will last a lifetime and generations to come.

Range Fees

Membership Fees:

We offer three types of memberships: We offer three types of memberships: $35.00 a year and $10.00 a day fee with extra family members $15.00/day $70.00 a year and $5.00 per day with extra family members of $25.00/day $250.00 a year no daily fee no extra family members.
